We're now into the last full week of August and the parties just keep on coming. In recent days, we've seen a huge spike in new event listings hitting the Skiddle site, offering up a variety of entertainment to suit all needs.
From earth-trembling bass music events in the English capital to boozy days out in the capital of Yorkshire, and some exceptional live music festivals, rounding off what's left of the 2022 season - we've got a real mixed bag of electrifying experiences to shout about in this week's New On Skiddle.

DnB Allstars Caged: London | The Opening Party
When: Saturday 24th September 2022
Where: HERE At Outernet in London
DNB Allstars head to one of London's newest live music venues this September for a special launch party, kick-starting their forthcoming UK-wide tour - 'Caged'.
The opening party of the 15-date jaunt around the British Isles will be held at HERE, a brand new state-of-the-art clubbing spot on Oxford Road, said to be “the most advanced experiential public space in the world”, fitted with 16K screens from floor to ceiling.
The lineup, which is yet to be announced, will see over 30 acclaimed DJs delivering 10 hours of high-energy drum n bass, from 4 pm until 2 am the following morning.
For insane visuals, heavy bass anthems and an unparalleled party atmosphere, there's only one place to be in London this September.

Heverlee x Melting Pot Weekender
When: Friday 23rd September 2022
Where: Barras Art And Design (BAaD) in Glasgow
For the first time in 15 years, DJ Billy Woods and join Simon Cordiner of Melting Pot - one of Scotland's best-loved dance event outfits - will come together behind the decks once more, reuniting ahead of the brand's 21st birthday celebrations this year.
Providing party-revellers in Glasgow with some of the finest deep disco cuts of the decades gone by, the original, dynamic Melting Pot duo will set the tone of the celebrations, alongside a host of other supporting acts.
Teaming up with Heverlee Beer, the indoor event is also set to feature a live art exhibition, as graffiti artists paint a stunning mural to commemorate the event and Melting Pot's milestone anniversary throughout the course of the evening.

When: Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th September 2022
Where: Temple Arches in Leeds
The 7th edition of Chow Down's Oktoberfest Leeds will return to the open-air drinking venue, Temple Arches this September, for two days of Lederhosen, pretzels, sausages, steins and Oompah madness.
In conjunction with the world's largest beer festival, held deep in the heartland of Bavaria, the Oktoberfest weekend of events will bring a taste of Germany to lager and ale enthusiasts in Northern England. Taking over the biggest beer garden in the city, a fitting venue for such an occasion, attendees can expect a day of merry-making whilst basking in some, hopefully, last summer sunshine.

Back In The Day presents Raves of Longton - Outdoor Special
When: Sunday 28th August 2022
Where: Aynsley Mill in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent
Rewind 30 years, and Longton, for many, was the centre of the Rave universe! The town just outside stroke on Trent was the Rave capital of the midlands in the 90s, and now 30 years on, it wants to reclaim that title, well... maybe just for the weekend (Everyone's a bit older now.)
This August Bank Holiday, many of those 3000 who used to descend on Shellys Laserdome and The Longton Leisure Bowl to see the Rave Elite and boogie the night away will have a chance to once again, giving that generation a chance to relive some of the best times of their lives. A very special event that will be a slice of history for many attending, and soundtracked by the same people it was back then, Do not miss out...

Where: Propyard in Bristol
Celebrating its 7th birthday, Shall Not Fade is putting on its debut festival which will see them take over Propyard in Bristol to bring you some of the best independent names in the UK dance music scene. With three stages found throughout the space, the organisers promise the entire event to be one immersive festival experience. plus, Sister label Time Is Now is taking over the main outdoor space with a focus on the darker side of dance music, taking the party-goers on a journey through Jungle, UK Garage, Breaks and all things in between.
With a focus on inclusivity and diversity, the festival has a 50:50 gender split across its acts with a focus on not only celebrating some of the higher profile label signees but also the up-and-coming talent close to the label. A night that is bound to royally go off!

Where: Depot (Mayfield) in Manchester
Two absolute giants of the electronic music scene will be gracing the stage of Depot (Mayfield) for the first set of Warehouse Project events that will cap off the summer. Electronic live acts rarely get better than Bonobo and Caribou, the two innovators manage to marry club-ready beats with a depth of musicality that brings out the two-step in everyone and leaves an indelible mark. With Bonobo bringing global influences to his neon-soaked melodic synths and Caribou displaying songcraft that is second to none in the electronic game, those who descend on Mayfield Depot this bank holiday will be treated to a night to remember.

Shangri-La presents Patrick topping
When: Saturday 1st October 2022
Where: Depot in Cardiff
With Wales welcoming back the groove master Patrick Topping for the first time since his sell-out TRICK in the Castle show, this night at the Depot in Cardiff is not one to miss for the tech-house aficionados amongst you. The reinforcements brought in to support the iconic DJ will set the tone excellently, with the emotionally resonant Amara starting off proceedings and the lo-fi house master DJ Boring elevating the room before topping gets behind the decks, the night is set to be one of the best dance events Cardiff has seen all summer.
On the last few tickets, and for good reason, this event is bound to be a sell-out, so get the tickets and avoid the rave fomo!

Hospitality Bristol x Critical Music XX
When: Saturday 19th November 2022
Where: Motion in Bristol
Building on the incredible energy from this Summer’s Hospitality on the Harbour x Sequences, and plunging it into a late-night high-octane rave, Hospitality Bristol are bringing you their final 20 Year celebration in the Marble Factory, which promises to be the biggest party that Bristol will see this Winter!
In conjunction with frequent collaborators Critical XX, the stacked line-up that spans the full spectrum of DnB will be providing the skankable basslines and unrivalled vibes for the event, and after the madness that was the Critical XX Day party, this one's bound to be just as high energy and is an essential for any Southwest ravers calendar.
