Welcome to the start of a new week, another step closer towards Christmas as December dawns. It's time to look forward into the new year and we have plans to sort you out well into 2025, with an avalanche of new announcements including festivals and huge raves.
This week's New On Skiddle includes a huge busted show in Colchester, an Overmono DJ set in Liverpool, the launch of a new venue in Burton and many, many more exciting happenings Check them all out below.
When: Friday 31st January 2025
Where: Secret Warehouse, Manchester
D.O.D heads home to Manchester at the start of 2025. The event is shrouded in a sense of mystery as the warehouse location has never been used for a rave. It is time to christen this space with unrelenting energy and there's no better artist to lead the party. Make sure you get down to Manchester for this.
Blank. Presents Clouds (New Years Eve)
When: Tuesday 31st December
Where: Nacional De Cuba, Londonderry
If you're not familiar with Clouds, they're a high-energy techno duo hailing from Edinburgh and they'll be setting sail for Ireland in December. Once upon the shores, they'll be bringing intense, industrial sounds to Nacional De Cuba, for what will be an exhilarating way to see in the new year.
Coloursfest Winter Party Trancefest v GBX
When: Thursday 26th December
Where: SWG3, Glasgow
Taking over the whole of SWG3, Trancefest are going head-to-head with GBX for an unrivalled night of raving. A mixture of old school anthems and trance, witness sets from some legendary names including Mauro Picotto, John 00 Fleming and Giuseppe Ottaviani. This one will be a blinder.

Where: Colchester Castle, Colchester
If you grew up in the 00's then there's a good chance that Busted were one of the first bands that you ever came to love. The trio have some anthems that can still get your energy up including 'Year 3000', 'Crash The Wedding' and 'Air Hostess'. You can catch them headline Colchester Castle in 2025. The Complex: Launch Party - Chapter I
When: Saturday 21st December
Where: The Complex, Burton Upon Trent
There's a new venue launching in Burton Upon Trent, The Complex and you can be there at its opening chapter. Launching just before Christmas, consider this a winter warmer and your chance to be a part of a bit of history. May many happy raves be had here.
Park Series Brighton: Ocean Colour Scene, Peter Doherty + More
When: Friday 23rd May 2025
Where: East Brighton Park, Brighton
Ocean Colour Scene have been announced as the first headliners of Brighton's The Park series, where they'll be going through fan favourites from their catalogue. They'll also be joined by Peter Doherty, The View and Feet for what should be a brilliant day out in early summer sunshine.
Park Series Hitchin: Ocean Colour Scene, Peter Doherty + More
When: Friday 18th July 2025
Where: Hitchin Priory, Hitchin
If you can't make it to Brighton, then two months later you can head to Hitchin which is also hosting The Park series. The event has the same support acts too, making for an enticing day out.

Where: Hamilton Park Racecourse, Hamilton
Stereofunk Festival is back for 2025, returning on Saturday 26th April. They're at a new location this year in Hamilton Park Racecourse, primed to deliver a day of nostalgic sounds to the masses. They've announced some amazing lineup including N-Trance, Ultrabeat, Flip N Fill and many more.
Teletech Hardcore 2025 (Day and Night)
When: Saturday 3rd May 2025
Where: Hidden, Manchester
Across 13 hours, 24 artists will be taking to the decks at Teletech's day into night event next May. Their yearly marathon is back again, challenging you to go all afternoon, evening and night. Here to guide you through are DJ Mad Dog, Kander, Faster Horses and many more superb talents.
