Happy Christmas, everyone! 

Here’s your present! Yep, another cracking New On Skiddle packed with some fantastic events. 

We’ve got loads of lovely events here including an outdoor The Human League summer gig, Berlin-based house and techno DJ Patrick Mason, Dysfunctional Rave, Mint Festival (including its first lineup announcement), PRTY Festival, a Maribou State DJ set, and a live Rudimental show.

Wildlife presents Patrick Mason

When: Friday 16th February 2024

Where: The Ice Factory in Perth

Berlin-based techno and house DJ, Patrick Mason, comes to Perth just after Valentine’s Day (hint, hint). Known for his infectious, energising live hybrid sets, Mason captures the sound of Berlin’s magnetic underground. The DJ has taken his sets across Europe, blowing the roof of every venue he’s on the decks in. 

Watch him do the same at Perth’s Ice Factory in February as he blitzes through a house and techno hybrid set that’ll keep you grooving all night long.

Live at Herrington: The Human League

When: Friday 12th July 2024

Where: Herrington Country Park in Sunderland

"Don’t, Don't you want me?" Synth-pop's biggest stars, The Human League, come to Sunderland for an open-air summer show at Herrington Country Park. The Grammy-winning band is sure to bring nothing but pure nostalgia with some of the best, timeless pop music. 

You can picture it now: you and your mates in the park, the sun setting, a couple of drinks in and singing your little hearts out to Together In Electric Dreams and Don’t You Want Me. It’s going to be like a movie - one you think of again and again even years after.

ACLP x PEAK: SOUTHSTAR (Scottish debut)

When: Friday 9th February 2024

Where: TV Studio SWG3 in Glasgow

German techno DJ and producer Southstar does his first-ever Scottish show at SWG3’s TV Studio after his hit track Miss You captivated clubbers and shot him to stardom. You know the one: “Don't fret, I don't ever wanna see you, And I never wanna meet you againnn,” yeah, that banger. 

Bringing you this rising talent are two of the city’s best-loved promoters, ACLP and PEAK. with two skilled promoters, a banging venue, and a talent who’s only going to keep getting bigger, this one’s going to be ace.

NDR presents Maribou State (DJ Set)

When: Friday 15th March 2024

Where: Patterns in Brighton

Maribou State, who you’ll know for their comfy and emotive electronic productions like Midas, Steal, Vale, Nervous Tics, and many more, comes to Brighton’s Patterns for a glorious headline DJ set, courtesy of Nu Dance Revolution. 

The lads land in the Brighton basement after countless back-to-back sold-out tours in the UK, US, and Australia. An intimate set, this one will be super special. The support for Maribou State will be announced soon.

SuperCharged presents Imanu & The Caracal Project

When: Saturday 24th February 2024

Where: The Volks Nightclub in Brighton

Dutch DJ and producer Imanu, and French producer The Caracal Project come to The Volks in Brighton for a proper late party. Both are sophisticated producers who make danceable music, often with a poignant edge, meaning it only makes sense these guys did a show together at some point. 

The show runs from 11pm to 7am, and support is still to be announced, but with two brilliant producers already confirmed, they've already won us over!

Groovebox Presents Clockwork Orange at The Emporium

When: Saturday 9th March 2024

Where: The Emporium in Coalville

Groovebox is known for its incredible, feel-good house events, which typically go down in Nottingham. This time, Groovebox steps a little out of Nottingham, throwing this one at the Emporium in Coalville. 

The Clockwork Orange crew links up with them to bring you very special headline sets from Gok Wan and Judge Jules, and supporting sets from Rob Tissera, Andy Manston, Danny Clockwork, Neon Hustler, OJAY, and more. A day party, this one starts at 3pm and finishes at 1am, so you can still get that precious beauty sleep.

DYSFUNCTIONAL: Under The Moon

When: Friday 26th January 2024

Where: Room2 in Glasgow

Dysfunctional Rave returns! One of Glasgow’s favourite hard dance brands is back again with another belter. Due to huge demand following an incredible set for Dysfunctional in October, the brand brings back Under The Moon for a headline show at Room2. 

Under The Moon is one of the most thrilling names on the techno scene right now, and comes to Room2, one of the sweatiest basement clubs the city has to offer, with Off Record and newcomers to the scene SVRGN.

PRTY Festival 

When: Saturday 22nd June 2024

Where: Braehead Arena in Glasgow

One of the UK’s hottest promoters, PRTY, has announced the second edition of its day festival, which comes to Glasgow in June 2024.

With a stunning reputation for bringing the biggest names and up-and-comers of the hard dance scene to ravers, PRTY events are some of the most in-demand on Skiddle, with you guys buying tickets instantly and searching for PRTY events all the time. If you love a PRTY event, you’ll love this. 

The festival hasn’t announced any names yet, but we know the lineup will be mega. blk. headlined last year with AZYR, Pawlowski, Aisha, and more joining him. And that was the fest's first edition. Imagine how mad this one’s going to be!

Dance and drum and bass producers, Rudimental, come to Brighton’s Waterhall for a live show that’ll surely be unreal. 

With countless bangers, many of which dominated the charts for weeks, like These Days, Dancing Is Healing, Feel The Love with John Newman, These Days with Jess Glynne, Macklemore, and Dan Caplen, Break My Heart, Waiting All Night with Ella Eyre, and many more, you’ll have a night with back to back songs you know the lyrics to. Which you’ll no doubt sing at the top of your lungs.

Ravers Reunited January Sales

Where: Lexis Nightclub in Mansfield

After Christmas, Boxing Day, and NYE, you’ll probably take it easy for a little while. We get it, that’s smart. But after a few weekends of calm, Ravers Reunited offers a fantastic party to get you back into raving again.

On sale on Friday this week, Ravers Reunited returns to Mansfield after selling out their last event. From 9pm until 4:30am, Lexis will be flooded with the raw, intense sounds of hardstyle. Mint Festival

When: Saturday 4th - Sunday 5th May 2024

Where: Newsam Green Farm in Leeds

Mint Fest has announced some of the names joining them in 2024! Girls Don't Sync, Interplanetary Criminal, K Motionz, PAWSA, Kettama, Max Dean, Eliza Rose, Morgan Seatree, and more will head over to Newsam Green to bring buzzing ravers house, techno, DnB, and more. 

2024’s bash will be in May this time, spread across two days, and will feature changes to prioritise intimate settings, allowing you to get up close and personal with your favourite DJs.
