Festival season is coming!
Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen loads of festivals announce their lineups, and it’s got us giddier than a kid in a sweet shop.
With that in mind, this week’s New On Skiddle is festivals galore with a handful of raves thrown in. We’ve got FLY Summer of Love 92, Clubland By The Sea, 90s Baby, DnB Allstars, Ibiza Proms, Dysfunctional Rave X Blackworks, Elation X Vivid, Bassman, and more.

BIG FAT RAVE XL: Camo & Krooked & More / Electrikal Soundsystem

Where: NX Newcastle in Newcastle Upon Tyne
Big Fat Rave calls all the party people of Newcastle to get down to this jungle and DnB rave in March.
Powered by Electrikal Soundsystem, this one sees Camo & Krooked with Daxta MC, Mandidextrous B2B Samurai Breaks, Harriet Jaxxon, JTD B2B GH, and more who’ll be announced soon, tear up NX.
Electrikal Soundsystem takes it up a level with a 12-sub stack to compliment the tunes and the free party spirit of Big Fat Rave.

Where: Galvanizers SWG3 in Glasgow
Fans of hard techno are going to love this one. Blackworks with Dysfunctional Rave brings a killer lineup of some of the finest hard techno DJs from across Europe to the massive SWG3.
Independent techno movement Blackworks brings some of the best sweat-inducing names across the world, being particularly adored in European scenes. For this one, they’ve enlisted Paris-born Kozlov to top the bill, joined by Berlin-based ANXHELA, Ireland’s Luciid, and Paris-born VENTUR.
If you’re looking for a rave that's hard, heavy, and sweaty from the get-go, this is the one.

Elation x Vivid: Schak // Josh Micky // Parsa Nani

Where: The Liquid Room in Edinburgh
One of the best clubs in Edinburgh brings Schak, Parsa Nani, and Josh Micky to ravers in March.
If you haven’t heard of Schak yet, we’d be surprised. But still, we’ll introduce you to him, just in case. Coming from North Shields, Schak just keeps getting bigger and bigger. The producer and DJ is probably best known for his track ‘Moving All Around (Jumpin’)’ featuring Kim English, Schak makes house with catchy hooks and 90s flavours.

Fancy being transported back to Ibiza for a fraction of the cost? Ibiza Proms In The Park sees the 50-piece orchestra Secret Symphony take you on a musical journey to the White Isle, with vocalists joining to give them that extra oomph.
Returning with its biggest edition yet, they’re bringing a brand new set list and special guest DJs along. That carefully chosen set list will evoke fond memories of times spent on the party island dancing thanks to it featuring Ibiza dance from the 90s to the present.
Digbeth Dining Club will be there with amazing street food, and there’ll be bars on site.

The perfect way to kick off the weekend, this one starts at 3pm and floods the air with the sounds of incredible bangers until 11pm.
And with it going down on a Friday in summer, chances are the sun will be shining, and you’ll also have the whole weekend to recover. Or head out to another event, you do you.

90s Baby, the event brand that brings us nostalgia by booking those artists that soundtracked yesteryear, returns with its second festival in July.
Ronan Keating, Peter Andre, Eternal, Blue, Five, A1, Sonique, 911, Scott Mills, Blazin' Squad, Dave Pearce, N-Trance, Phats & Small, and more will be playing all their bangers to thousands of music fans. This family-friendly festival welcomes music fans of all ages for a two-day celebration of 90s pop and dance.
Now two days instead of one, we’ve got twice the amount of bangers to sing along and dance to. Just like last year, this is sure to be another smash.

Where: The Digbeth Triangle in Birmingham
Birmingham’s MADE Festival makes a glorious return in 2024 with its ten-year celebration of incredible names in dance.
While no artists have been announced yet, the festival brings some of the best-loved names in house, DnB, bass, hip-hop, disco, UKG, tech house, and more. In the past, the fest has brought Stormzy, Camelphat, The Streets, Annie Mac, Chase & Status, DJ EZ, and more spread across multiple stages to the West Midlands’ music fans.
Brought to us by Weird Science, the day festival runs from midday to 11pm, allowing plenty of time to travel to and from the site so you can attend no matter where you live in the country.

One of the best festivals in London this year, DnB Allstars brings over one hundred of the biggest names in the scene to Gunnersby Park, spread across seven stages.
We’ve got a seriously stacked lineup to look forward to with this one including Wilkinson, Bou, Hedex, Dimension, Kara, A Little Sound, Camo & Krooked, Friction, Fabio & Grooverider, K Motionz, Turno, Hype B2B Hazard, Serum, Simula, Mozey, Koven, Emily Makis ft DJ HiFi, and Tsuki. Madness.
With a lineup like that, the only problem you’ll have is deciding which stage to check out. But still, this one’s going to be next-level.

FLY presents Summer of Love '92 Festival

FLY has announced their new festival Summer of Love 92 which is set to bring house, techno, and UKG artists to a secret venue in Edinburgh.
The lineup features UK and international artists, creating a diverse sound with a range of styles and influences.
With horsegiirL, Salute, Mall Grab B2B Effy, Conducta, Sam Alfred, Simone, LB AKA Labat, Kimmic, Ammara, Morgan Seatree, Dominique, and more on the decks, spinning tunes to 5,000 ravers, it’s surely going to be a highlight of the year.

Square One: Easter Warehouse Fest

Where: Lincolnshire Showground in Lincoln
Following its sold-out Halloween festival Square One is back with an Easter rave with thousands of ravers in a warehouse just 10 minutes from Lincoln.
With a brand new stage design featuring a huge video wall, lasers, lights, and world-class sound, Square One brings DnB with some jungle, UKG, and bassline thrown in for a massive Easter celebration.

Could Be Real Tribute Festival at Walton Hall & Gardens

Where: Walton Hall And Gardens in Warrington
Could Be Real brings the UK’s very best tribute acts to Warrington’s Walton Hall & Gardens for an open-air gig that’ll pack a June Friday evening with the legendary rock and pop.
The lineup will be announced soon, but considering the Nottingham and Weston Super-Mare editions have confirmed tributes to Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse, Oasis, Spice Girls, Queen, Pink, and more huge brilliant names, we’re sure the lineup will be equally incredible.

Legendary drum and bass MC Bassman brings his annual birthday bash to LAB11 on a warm July day.
Born and bred in Aston, Bassman often celebrates his birthday with a hometown event. This one will be a day rave, allowing pointers to enjoy the sounds of DnB, jungle, and bass music from 3pm until 11pm in one of the city’s favourite award-winning clubs with outdoor areas. A solid choice for a summer daytime rave!
