As part of their tour celebrating 30 years of People Everyday, multi-Grammy-award-winning hip-hop group Arrested Development is coming to start a positive party at Bristol’s Propyard with a full live band.
The group, known for its tunes Tennessee, People Everyday, and Mr Wendall, first formed in 1988 as a positive alternative to the hip-hop that was popular at the time. Immediately snatching everyone's attention with their positive, uplifting lyrics and vibes, the group snagged a Grammy for Best New Artist, becoming the first-ever hip-hop artist to win the award, and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for Tennessee.
Not only is Arrested Development a brilliant group, providing a positive perspective throughout, but a crucial piece of hip-hop history.
