Look, we’d love to do the pleasantries with you guys but we’d rather launch into the jaw-droppingly gorgeous new events we’ve got for you!
Another glorious New On Skiddle, we’ve got a Hannah Laing tour, Ewan McVicar’s Scottish tour, Christmas drive-in films, the maddest New Year’s Eve parties, a 2024 festival, and more. We swear New On Skiddle just gets better and better each week.
Take a look at what’s new below, secure your tickets, and plan to either end the year with a massive bang or find events to get you giddy about 2024.
When: Saturday 23rd December 2023
Where: LAB11 in Birmingham
One of Birmingham’s best-loved clubs and best-loved party brands collab for a massive pre-Christmas session, which happens to be the final party of 2023.
Brummie-based party starters, WYLD, take over Lab on the night before Christmas Eve, going wild (see what we did there?) for one last time this year in the massive warehouse and on the terrace.
The lineup for this one features Wheats, LP Rhythm B2B Paige Tomlinson B2B Mad.Again, Ryan Resso, and more spinning house, deep house, tech house, and minimal tunes.
One last bash before we’re passing the carrots to relatives wearing paper crowns from Christmas crackers? Of course we’ll take you up on that, thank you.

Where: Albert Hall in Manchester
If you yearn for the time of Tamagotchis, boy bands ruling the charts (and the world), Sabrina The Teenage Witch, and Furbies (well, maybe not Furbies, they’re creepy), we’ve got the perfect NYE party for you!
90s Baby does what it says on the tin - gives you the best artists from yesteryear that anyone who was a 90s baby will recognise. While we don’t have a lineup for this yet, 90s Baby Festival featured Blue, Sonique, Peter Andre, Five, Sweet Female Attitude, and more throwback legends.
You can picture it now: way too tipsy, grabbing your friend by the shoulders, and belting the lyrics that defined your childhood with no idea how you still remember them. It’s probably deeply ingrained in your brain at that point.
Expect live acts and DJs across house, pop, and club classics.

Ewan McVicar, one of Scotland’s biggest DJs right now, has announced a massive Scottish tour in some incredible, pretty intimate little venues.
Ewan McVicar needs no real introduction. The Tell Me Something Good DJ and producer is massive, having played just about every massive fest, The Warehouse Project, and loads of other major music events, he’s almost become synonymous with dance music.
Stopping by at venues including Paisley’s Club 69, Edinburgh’s Liquid Room, Dundee’s LIVE Fat Sams, Aberdeen’s Unit 51, and a secret Glasgow location, these raves are sure to be up there with the ones you’ll never forget.

Hannah Laing Welcome To The Doof Tour
When: Saturday 17th February - Saturday 17th August 2023
Where: Cardiff, Southampton, Brighton, Newcastle, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, London, and Glasgow
Another of Scotland's biggest DJs, Hannah Laing, has announced her England, Scotland, and Wales dates, stopping by many major cities for her Welcome To The Doof Tour.
Known for bangers like Party All The Time and Good Love, Laing has been everywhere over the past few years. If you haven’t heard of her, you genuinely must live under a rock.
A word of warning: if you’ve got your eyes on these Hannah Laing tickets, act sooner rather than later as her Dundee dates sold out insanely rapidly and there’s no better feeling than catching a rising artist before they get so big it’s impossible to see them again.

Christmas is obviously brilliant. We’re all buzzing about it, the food’s great, and we get presents. But one of the sometimes we can forget about another thing that makes it top: Christmas films.
Showing all our favourite classics - Elf, Home Alone, Bad Santa, Frozen, Jingle All The Way, Deck The Hall, Love Actually, and The Grinch - Falkirk Stadium is here to get us giddy about the best time of the year with the world’s largest drive-in screen and street food from Glasgow’s Big Feed.
Stick the heating on (including seat warmers if you have them), drive in, and tune your radio to the film to make some cosy memories to last a lifetime.

When: Saturday 3rd August 2024
Where: Copthall Playing Fields in London
London’s biggest celebration of house music returns, exploring the genre’s many sounds including its classic vibe, afro house, tech house, garage, soul, dancehall, disco, and more.
We don't know who's playing just yet but the lineup always slaps. Last year saw Louie Vega, David Morales, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez (widely considered one of the best DJs), and so many other legends of the scene on the decks.
After listening to feedback from the 2023 edition, 51st returns on the original earlier August date, going down on Saturday 3rd of August 2024. Easily accessible by tube, train, bus, and car, this fest, showcasing house from all over, is super easy to get to.
