Rise and shine! These colder and shorter days may be rubbish but they’re a small price to pay for the immeasurable fun that Christmas and New Year’s Eve bring. Hold on, the good times are coming!

Getting down to business, this week’s additions are as golden as every other week with Azyr in Manchester, blk. in Liverpool, Forbidden Forest Festival with a massive multi-genre lineup for next year, PURE Garage in Birmingham, The Wolfe Tones in Liverpool, Kaiser Chiefs in Brighton, and more.

Go on, have a look at what’s new. We’ll see you down the front!

Azyr [All Night Long] @ Factory International

When: Friday 28th March 2025

Where: Aviva Studios (Factory International) in Manchester

Blackpool’s Azyr is coming to Manchester! Taking over Factory International - it’ll be the first club show ever in the venue - he’ll be playing all night long, blasting through his signature sound that blends hard techno, schranz, psytrance, rave, and acid.

Even if you’re new to the hard techno scene, chances are you’ve heard a bit about this guy. His Boiler Room set sits comfortably with just under 2.5 million watches All about the energy and hard-hitting sounds, trust us when we say not a single person stands still at an Azyr rave.

The number of sign-ups for this event was over double the venue's capacity. So if this is your dream event, we’d recommend locking those tickets down ASAP.

Second Speed presents blk. Liverpool

When: Saturday 5th April 2025

Where: Blackstone Street Warehouse in Liverpool

Continuing his unbelievable hot streak, hard techno king blk. headlines Blackstone Warehouse, one of the best clubs in Liverpool, in April next year.

From a small Irish village to some of the biggest stages in the world, blk. Is proving to be unstoppable. One of the most-searched artists on Skiddle last year (and the year before), if you don’t know him for his wildly energetic raves, you’ll probably know his tracks ‘I Need A Boiler Room’ and ‘Enter The Dragon’.

Armed with huge tracks and clearly an expert at soundtracking addictive raves, the DJ was certainly born to be on the decks. Support is to be announced, but this 2pm to 11pm event is already sure to be an absolutely incredible event.

On The Beach: Kaiser Chiefs

When: Sunday 27th July 2025

Where: Brighton Beach in Brighton

Following the earlier announcement that Bloc Party will headline On The Beach next year, performing Silent Alarm and their greatest hits, we now know Kaiser Chiefs will be closing OTB 2025.

The Yorkshire band headline the event, playing their album Employment in full alongside their greatest hits. The album, containing anthems like ‘I Predict A Riot’ and ‘Every Day I Love You Less And Less’, was their debut and was released in 2005.

Since they’re playing their greatest hits too, you can also expect the essential track ‘Ruby’, which will surely be euphoric to scream along to at the top of your lungs.

On The Waterfront presents The Wolfe Tones

When: Friday 20th June 2025

Where: Pier Head in Liverpool

Just a few months ago, On The Waterfront announced its return, confirming Sting as the Sunday headliner, followed by the announcement of Cream Classical Ibiza headlining the day before. Next up, Irish folk band The Wolfe Tones are set to headline on the Friday.

Possibly the world's biggest and best-loved Irish folk band, their tracks 'Celtic Symphony' and 'Let The People Sing' have become anthems that resonate with people across generations. As the band’s last ever show in England, and since the city has a special place in the band’s heart, it’s going to be a special gig.

One more Waterfront headliner is to be announced but it’s already a stacked weekend of multiple genres. Watch this space for the final headline act announcement!
