Where: Joshua Brooks in Manchester

German techno specialist and long-standing Berghain resident, Ben Klock will touch down in the capital of Northern England in just over a month's time, returning to Manchester to play his most intimate party ever.

Performing once again at the request of the team behind popular record label and event brand, Haus22, the Berlin-native - best known by his minimal tech-house banger, 'Subzero' and his reworking of Kerri Chandler's classic, 'Pong' - will showcase why exactly he's renowned as one of the most important contemporary figures in dance music right now.

Supporting sets are confirmed to come from Haus22 comrades, Bill Rogers and Stephen Haymes.

Joshua Brooks presents: Kerri Chandler all night long

Another legend is set to step foot through the doors of Manchester club, Joshua Brooks in the early part of the year. An OG figure in the development of house music, an international ambassador of dance, and an inspiration to DJs across the globe - Kerri 'kaoz' Chandler will deliver a customary evening of uncompromising and eclectic electronic music, to the city's many party-loving people.

Repercussion presents ABSOLUTE. + Joe Motion

Where: YES Basement in Manchester

Manchester's YES, in partnership with party-throwing experts, Repercussion, will host fast-rising East London producer and DJ, Anthony McGinley AKA ABSOLUTE. towards the end of the month.

The Mixmag cover star, who's been championed by basically every reputable name operating in electronic music - from The Blessed Madonna and Annie Mac to Tiga, Erol Alkan, and dance icon, Pete Tong - has caused quite the stir since breaking through from the underground, back in 2018.

Having conquered audiences across the UK, appearing on lineups at major events the likes of Glastonbury and Amsterdam's Milkshake Festival, the neon-haired selector is now set to make his debut at the popular Manchester venue. Taking control of the sound system on the lower level floor, dance fans will be spoilt to an evening of emotive, dancefloor-filling techno anthems, harking back to the early days of rave.

Crooked House In The Park 2022

Where: Lichfield City Centre in Lichfield

Following on from the resounding success of the festival's inaugural celebration, Crooked House In The Park is back over the August Bank Holiday weekend this year for another stellar one-day event.

The open-air event, the first-ever electronic dance music festival to take place in Lichfield city centre, just thirty minutes from Stafford, saw some of the worlds biggest DJs take to the stage in 2021 - including Danny Howard, Martin Ikin, Fabio and Grooverider, DJ Hype, DJ Hazard and Pete Tong.

Although yet-to-be-announced, we anticipate the lineup for Crooked House In The Park 2022 to far surpass last year's eye-popping bill. Expect performances from international talents representing the best in house, drum n bass, and UK garage.

Independent Venue Week 2022 - The K's

When: Monday 31st January - Sunday 6th February 2022

Where: York, Bristol, Blackpool

Established in the quiet market town of Earlestown in the North West of England, indie rock outfit, The K's have left a lasting mark on the UK's live music scene since their formation.

The four-piece, best known for their 2017 anthem, 'Sarajevo', had a massive 2021, landing slots at renowned festival events the likes of Kendal Calling and Liverpool Sound City, and performing for lofty event curators, This Feeling.

Looking to hit the ground running and hoping to achieve the same success in 2022, the group will begin the year by heading out on a mini-tour of the UK to mark this year's forthcoming Independent Venue Week celebrations - running from Monday 31st January to Sunday 6th February.

Levels Opening Party 2022

When: Saturday 5th February 2022

Where: LAB11 in Birmingham

One of The Midlands premier dance event collectives, Levels has recently announced its first shindig of the year, taking place at award-winning clubbing destination and multi-faceted warehouse complex, LAB11 this February. 

Promising a 'no holds barred' party across two rooms - with music pumping from 9 pm on Saturday 4th February until 4 am on Sunday 5th February - Level's will supply sets from the likes of Birmingham’s very own Vito, who headlines The Terrace stage, and Alex Parkin, heading The Warehouse stage. 

Punters present on the night will also witness notable performances from a list of resident DJs, such as Alex Bowen B2B Joey London, Brandon Ross, and Guy Burns to name a few.

WYLD 2nd Birthday w/ANOTR

When: Saturday 19th March 2022

Where: LAB11 in Birmingham

Birmingham club night, WYLD will celebrate its second year in the game this March with a grand birthday bash at the city's aforementioned warehouse club, LAB11.

Lending a helping hand in making sure the milestone occasion goes off accordingly, Dutch dance duo ANOTR will deliver an extended set packed full of heaters with support coming from Elliot Schooling B2B Liam Palmer, Ryan Resso, party specialists PARADOX CITY, and Eddie Chitnis.

Prepare to see LAB11 as you never have before, as the WYLD crew transform the Yard of the venue for this special eight-hour event.

Ibiza Proms On The Pier - Blackpool Pier

Where: Blackpool North Pier in Blackpool

This July, join Classic Events Co. and the forty-strong Club Orchestra on Blackpool's historic North Pier for an unforgettable journey soundtracking the unmistakable tracks of the infamous White Isles. 

Hear some of the biggest dance anthems of the last thirty years rearranged by strings and brass instruments, with guest appearances from amazing vocalists and DJs bringing home the nostalgia at this one-off summertime experience.
