The shift into autumn might be making some of us a little groggy. But with Halloween, Bonfire Night, and NYE on the way, we’re sure we’ll find a way to power through. And when you see what new events have just gone on sale, we’re certain you’ll feel as rejuvenated as we do.

Featuring loads of cracking events in Scotland including three LF SYSTEM events, STREETrave’s annual festive bash, Scottish House & Disco Festival NYE, and more. Plus, there’s Becky Hill in Brighton, The Thrillseekers in Leeds, and Garage Republic Indoor Festival in Nottingham. Yep, it’s another New On Skiddle stunner.

Solihull Christmas Lights Trail

When: Friday 22nd November - Sunday 22nd December 2024

Where: Lake Drive Private Estate in Solihull

Formerly Tidbury Green Golf Club, Lake Drive Private Estate will be the backdrop for a magical Christmas lights trail with illuminated winter wonderland forest scenery and festive features in November and December.

With multiple timeslots every day, the trail offers all sorts of festive thrills including the food village serving up festive treats and multiple light features. Stroll through the mesmerising light tunnel and moon gates, marvel at the lantern displays, and take a moment to sink into the holiday spirit at the festive lake.

Becky Hill In The Park

When: Friday 2nd May 2025

Where: Waterhall in Brighton

Becky Hill comes to Waterhall for an open-air gig on the Early May bank holiday Friday next year.

Working with some of the biggest producers in house, DnB, and EDM, Becky provided vocals on tracks like ‘Afterglow’, ‘Disconnect’, ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’, ‘Remember’, ‘Crazy What Love Can Do’, and ‘Lose Control’. Believe us, there’s more, but we’d be here all day if we carried on.

Support acts will be announced soon but knowing she’ll be blasting through some of the biggest dance hits of recent years is more than enough to convince many to grab their ticket now.

Danny Rankin, Presti, Skala + more

When: Friday 15th November 2024

Where: Queen Of Hoxton in London

Free Range Sounds, an events brand that’s been championing the underground since 2008, brings Danny Rankin AKA Decoy of Kurupt FM to London next month.

Bringing dubstep, bassline, grime, and bass music, but mainly UKG, to Queen of Hoxton, Rankin will be joined by Presti, Skala, and Profess B2B Tom Practical.

Attendees can expect a history of UKG as they go from old to new and back again, covering classics from the 90s and early 00s, plus plenty of fresh cuts from the genre’s recent resurgence.

The best bit? Tickets are an absolute steal at just £4, if you act quick.

The Thrillseekers pres. 25 Years of Trance

When: Friday 27th December 2024

Where: The Warehouse in Leeds

One of the best clubs in Leeds will host The Thrillseekers shortly after Christmas as part of his 25 Years of Trance world tour. For this one, The Thrillseekers play open to close, from 5pm until midnight, followed by an afterparty with special guests to be announced soon.

Having been responsible for some of the biggest and most iconic tracks of all time including '99’s ‘Synaesthesia’, '01’s ‘Dreaming of You’, and '04’s ‘NewLife’, the DJ and producer has been at the forefront of the trance scene for a quarter of a century.

Having also worked under the pseudonyms En-Motion and Hydra, plus the duos Insigma and Rapid Eye, his dedication to trance is unwavering.

Kicking off the tour in the newly refurbished Leeds venue, this is sure to be unreal for any trance fan.

LF SYSTEM All-Night-Long Scotland

LF-SYSTEM

When: Thursday 5th, Friday 6th, and Saturday 7th December 2024

Where: Sub Club in Glasgow, Club 69 in Paisley, Unit 51 in Aberdeen

The ‘Afraid To Feel’ lads are back on home turf this December, playing house and disco house all night long at, what they’ve called, “some of the coolest clubs in the UK.”

About the shows, the West Lothian duo said they’re excited to go “back to where it all started, small and intimate venues where you can proper feel the people around you, sharing all different types of music we love over an extended period.”

The duo hasn’t played any all-night-long sets in a while, and have promised to bring lots of new music they’ve been working on.

Darkside: Boxing Day '24

When: Thursday 26th December 2024

Where: Classic Grand in Glasgow

Darkside is back with its massive annual Boxing Day rave, bringing international hardcore and uptempo artists to Jamaica Street's Classic Grand.

Not much has been revealed about this one just yet but we know they'll be bringing some seriously heavy sounds to the legendary venue from 9pm until 4am. It's going to be big, it's going to be loud, it's going to be sweaty.

If you're looking for that dream Boxing Day rave with heavy sounds, you can secure early bird tickets now to save some cash. If you miss out, standard tickets will be on sale in just under three week's time.

Generation GBX

When: Thursday 26th December 2024

Where: Radisson Red in Glasgow

After the wholesome Christmas festivities… well, wholseome-ish (considering all the Xmas bevs), there’s nothing like getting back out there for a Boxing Day rave. For the third year in a row, George Bowie and the Generation GBX team takeover the RED Sky Bar for a post-Christmas 90s club classics party.

Grab a welcome drink from sponsor Whitney Neill before dancing off the Christmas hangover to the sounds of George Bowie and his team of Generation GBX residents.

Skyline ft Danny Howells - All Night Long Dig Deeper Set

When: Sunday 26th January 2025

Where: Radisson Red in Glasgow

The Skyline family will reassemble on the last weekend of January 2025 for a deep and prog house set from one of Skyline's favourite artists, Danny Howells.

Coming through with an all-night-long set, he'll be joined by Skyline residents for a huge celebration from 12pm until 1am at the RED Sky Bar.

All ticket profits will be donated to local charity Homeless Project Scotland, a team of volunteers who save lives every day in Glasgow. You can choose how much you wish to donate - £10, £12.50, or £15 - with your ticket choice.

STREETrave x Sub Club

When: Sunday 29th December 2024

Where: Sub Club in Glasgow

STREETrave returns with its annual festive bash, taking over Glasgow’s Sub Club with the sounds of house and old skool.

Established in 1989, STREETrave became known for the best rave parties in Scotland, hosting events until 1995. But now it’s back and bigger than ever, bringing solid events to Glasgow.

Not too much has been revealed, with the lineup still to be announced. But STREETrave always delivers the goods. We know this one kicks off at 10pm and will have you dancing all the way up to 4am.

Scottish House & Disco Festival NYE

When: Tuesday 31st December 2024 (New Year's Eve)

Where: VEGA in Glasgow

Ah, New Year’s Eve events. Where did the year go? Despite ten months whizzing by us in a matter of minutes, the silver lining is we now get to start scoping out the best NYE events. And this one’s certainly up there.

Scottish House & Disco Festival bring us a chunky New Year’s Eve party with house and disco sounds from Natasha Kitty Katt, Billy Woods, and Al Kent. And Barry McCormack, Kris Keegan, and Casey Boyne will join them.

Flooding feel-good tunes through the venue from 7:30pm until 2am, it’s set to be a firm favourite for many Glasgow thrillseekers this NYE.

SO SOLID CREW | Garage Republic Indoor Festival at The Palais

When: Saturday 14th December 2024

Where: The Palais in Nottingham

Garage Republic brings an indoor festival to The Palais in December, enlisting a massive UKG lineup to blow us away. Think of it as the best early Christmas present you could treat yourself to. You’ll see what we mean when we go over the lineup.

For this one, they’re bringing So Solid Crew (Romeo, Lisa Maffia, and Dan Da Man), Luck and Neat, Oxide & Neutrino, Kele Le Roc, Aya Bleu, and more to soundtrack the night for over 1,000 ravers.

Alongside a belting lineup, punters can expect festival production, venue decor, and a big ol’ L’acoustics sound system to enjoy it all to the fullest.
