We hope you enjoyed your extra day off with the August Bank Holiday! Hopefully, you weren't one of those who had a tent blown away at Leeds Festival. The summer is coming to an end and we've had some incredible festivals take place across the UK.
We're already looking ahead, as the clubbing season is around the corner and we're seeing events already be announced for 2025. If you want to fill up your calendar then you've come to the right place. This week's New On Skiddle features DNB Allstars' takeover in Amsterdam, Knockengorroch's 2025 edition, Spooktacular and much more. Take a look at the full list below.
DNB Allstars: Amsterdam 30HZ Weekender
When: Friday 22nd - Sunday 24th November
Where: Various Venues, Amsterdam
DNB Allstars head to Amsterdam later in the year for a full weekender of the brightest and best drum and bass sounds. Making sure that Europe isn't feeling any winter chill, they will be livening things up with a star studded lineup featuring Andy C, Bou, Hybrid Minds, Shy FX and more.
Shangri-La: Halloween w/Chris Stussy +Locklead
When: Thursday 31st October
Where: Depot, Cardiff
Looking ahead to Halloween already? This huge rave at Depot in Cardiff could be the place where you dance away the spookiest night of the year. Headlined by none other than Chris Stussy, he'll be joined by Locklead, Lucas Alexander and more. This will be one of Cardiff's biggest Halloween events.
When: Saturday 30th November
Where: Connexin Live, Hull
The sounds of the Hacienda days have come in all different shapes and interpretations in recent years. There have been classical editions that have reinterpreted the classic anthems and reunions of some of the scene's biggest names. This is the latter, taking place in Hull as The Hacienda arrives in the arena with some house music legends taking to the decks.
Let It Roll On Tour Bristol//Presented By Run
When: Saturday 2nd November
Where: The Prospect Building, Bristol
RUN is Bristol's biggest drum and bass event and be linking up with Let It Roll to deliver some of the genre's most exciting names this November. The Prospect Building is the city's latest venue and across two different arenas, the likes of Camo & Krooked, Andy C and Metrik will all be performing.
Turbo Freshers w/Paige Tomlinson, Inafekt b2b Kyle Starkey
When: Thursday 12th September
Where: Tunnels and Unit 51, Aberdeen
If you happen to be a Fresher in Aberdeen them Tunnels and Unit 51 have an absolute treat as one of their Freshers events. Across the two clubs there will be three headliners and a huge selection of up and coming names. Paige Tomlinson, Inafekt and Kyle Starkey all know how to get a party started.
When: Thursday 22nd - Sunday 25th May 2025
Where: Knockengorroch, Kirkcudbrightshire
We don't have many details about next year's edition of Knockengorroch Festival but tickets are already on sale for the beloved festival. The amount of peple who return here is a good indicator of how good a festival it is. Some of the brightest minds in alternative genres will be attending.
When: Friday 4th - Sunday 27th October
Where: Green Car Park Silverburn, Glasgow
Spooktacular returns to Glasgow and you could say that it is the perfect spooky treat of an event. Full of attractions and rides, including a ghost train, you can pick up a ticket with four hours of unlimited ride access. Go and chase some adrenaline highs, if you dare.
