With the first festivals of the year kicking off, we are in high spirits for this week's New On Skiddle. We've just been celebrating another year of Highest Point and we're looking forward to what the upcoming months have to offer.
As ever, we are bringing you the freshest new events on offer at Skiddle and we have events that will satisfy that itch to get yourself to a festival this year, it isn't too late! There are also some brilliant clubbing events from across the UK that will be just as tempting too.
When: Sunday 25th June
Where: Yorkshire Payments Stadium, Halifax
Our House is putting on an event with a twist on June 25th. Known for their hard-hitting raves, now they're putting on a festival that the whole family can enjoy. DJs on duty will include the likes of Dale Castell, George Bond and Rob Tissera, not a bad selection for what might be your kids' first raving experience.
There will be plenty of other events to keep the entertainment going all day long such as fun fair rides, bouncy castles, ice cream and face painting.

Where: Liquid Room, Edinburgh
Stack City are hitting up Edinburgh this summer and they'll be taking over the Liquid Room. It has been a few months since they've had the chance to visit the city and they'll be wanting to put on another memorable night. There will no doubt be belters from start to finish.
Stack City boss Multunes will be providing all the House and Club Classics you could ask for.

Where: The Old School House and Courtyard, Hull
Deja Vu have been putting on incredibly successful day and night parties in Hull at the Old School House, which has seen delighted ravers come and go. One of the biggest events in the city, they have special guests that haven't been announced yet but the last event had SOSA as headliner.
12 hours of partying seems like the perfect way to spend a Saturday in the summer sun.

Where: Witton Park, Blackburn
Lost Wood is brought to you by the founders of Restricted Forest and if they've proven anything, they know how to put on the perfect woodland events. This time around, Lost Wood Festival is all about Drum and Bass. With a mixture of upcoming and established names, it looks like a tantalising prospect.
Friction, Hedex, Devilman, Alcemist and many more have been announced to be playing and if that doesn't tempt you into picking up a ticket then nothing will.
When: Sunday 28th May
Where: Berlin Bar, Birmingham
If you want to feel a bit more exclusive then this is the event for you. You'll notice that tickets are password protected, you'll have to contact the venue on social media in order to gain the passcode and secure your tickets. Once the bag is secured, you'll be able to attend a night where you'll be immersed in minimal techno.
Sublee, Cap, Amo and Kizito are just some of the names who will be on the decks.

Trance Sanctuary Presents Kearnage
When: Saturday 11th November
Where: Ministry of Sound, London
Ministry of Sound is one of London's most iconic clubs and you can attend an event that will last long in the memory. Linking up with Kearnage, Bryan Kearney will be performing a mammoth seven-hour-long set and you can be there to twist and turn to every single vibration.
He'll be joined by Allen Watts, Cold Blue, James Black and more.

Where: The Marble Factory, Bristol
The first of two events that we have involving Love Saves The Night this week, this one will be in collaboration with RUN. This will be the first night of the festival's official afterparty where Turno, Eksman, Jakes and more will all be in attendance to keep that energy from the day going well into the early hours.

The Blast x Love Saves The Night
When: Sunday 28th May
Where: The Marble Factory, Bristol
You'll find the same story here as this will be the official afterparty of the second day of Love Saves The Day at The Marble Factory. There will be another all-star cast heading to the venue to make sure that this is one weekend that you won't forget in a hurry. Girls Don't Sync, Gardna and Randall will all be on top form.

The Tuesday Club Summer Carnival
When: Tuesday 6th June
Where: Foundry, Sheffield
Early June will see 12 hours of summer vibes head to Foundry in Sheffield as The Tuesday Club's Summer Carnival rolls into town. MCs and DJs will be playing a mixture of afro-fusion, Grime, Garage and DnB. There will be a BBQ on to keep your energy up throughout the day and it'll be a mix of hard dancing and feel-good vibes.
