The trusted techno curators behind guest mix hosting platform, Techno Cave have recently unveiled plans to launch their own techno clubbing brand, set to bring some of the scenes biggest heavy-hitters to cities around the UK this year - ZERO1.

Announcing a series of shows to launch the new brand, ZERO1 has confirmed upcoming dates at venues such as The Liquid Room in Edinburgh on Friday 16th July, Mint Warehouse in Leeds on Friday 23rd July, Motion in Bristol on Saturday 24th July and the Victoria Warehouse Basement in Manchester, on Friday 30th July.

Kicking things off with a bang, Kraftek label native Pleasurekraft, whose recent remix from Drumcode Records went to number one on the Beatport chart, will bring his distinctive and high-energy cosmic sound to the people of Edinburgh on July 16th. Joining the US-based DJ/producer on the night will be Kraftek staples, Spektre. Described by their peers as 'a shining beacon of originality', the duo have made a name for themselves through their impressive live performances and unique output, making frequent appearances at sought-after dance events and venues, the likes of Space Ibiza, Exit Festival, Pacha Buenos Aires and Burning Man Festival.

Rounding up proceedings of ZERO1's first outing, Manchester's OC & Verde will take down whats left of the venues roof. Now established as one of the scene's most respected features, the northern pair have had huge success since breaking out onto the scene with their smash hit ‘Maasai’. Showing no signs of slowing, the duo, aka Ben O'Connor and Jon Verde, have since released a score of successful tracks via imprints Truesoul, Filth On Acid, Rukus, Bedrock, Terminal M and Kraftek.

The following week see's Italian powerhouse Ilario Alicante heading up the bill at one of Leeds most popular nightspots, the Mint Warehouse. The thirty-three-year-old label boss and award winning DJ is one of techno's most mastered producers and selectors. His highly regarded live sets have gained him regular bookings at some of the worlds biggest dance festivals and clubbing events. Support on the night comes from aforementioned DJs Pleasurekraft, Spektre and OC & Verde. A lineup to behold.

On July 24th, the third ZERO1 event will take place at Bristol's Motion nightclub, featuring a headline set from Berghain resident and all-round dance floor destroyer - Ben Klock. Those who have seen Klock perform before need no introduction. His superior ability to not only read but create his own room, providing revellers with a diverse and unique soundtrack at each and every appearance, has led to many labelling Klock as a master of the craft.

Alongside him on the night, those in attendance can expect to witness something truly special from one of the best DJs out there. Taking control over 4 CDJ’s, jumping between tracks, producing something completely new and extraordinary, Dutch techno wizard SAMA is set to have jaws dropping to the floor on the night. With releases on the likes of Kraftek and Drumcode, the Netherlands based DJ and producer is certainly one to watch.

And finally, closing off the series, a true pioneer of European Techno - Chris Liebing heads to the Victoria Warehouse Basement in Manchester on July 30th. Drawing from his encyclopedic knowledge of techno, Liebing is able to assemble immersive DJ sets that will have you raving until you can't no more. His record labels, technical collaborations and radio shows have in turn provided a platform for many of the genres current stars, and have shown that Liebing is a tireless and trustworthy curator.

Dutch DJ SAMA will once again make a supporting appearance on the night, alongside progressive techno artist, Brennen Grey. Brennen’s tracks have been played by huge names such as Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, and Victor Ruiz over the years. Expect huge energy from this boundary pushing American DJ.
