While you might know him best as Chet Faker, Nick Murphy has returned to the musical fore with a heap of releases under his own name. The Australian downtempo don brings his brand of electronica soul to Manchester's Albert Hall on Saturday 2nd December.
Murphy delivered a handful of tracks in 2016, testing the waters of his new direction, and this year brought out the Missing Link E.P, which is built upon five dynamic numbers, with silky smooth vocals, bumping disco beats and huge string arrangements.
There's also a feature from genius Haitian-Canadian DJ and record producer Kaytranada on bubbling number 'Your Time', and fans of Murphy will hope that more new music comes prior to this winter date.
