Nils Frahm will bring his contemporary take on classical music to the UK for live dates. The German musician, whose shows can often be spellbinding affairs, will play at Albert Hall in Manchester on Sunday 17th February and at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on Wednesday 20th February.
One of the leading figures in a distinct area of modern classical composition and performance, Nils Fraham combines electronica hardware, instruments and production techniques with classical composition and more traditional musicianship. Far from being simply a studio musician, he has earned a considerable reputation also as a live performer.
2018 saw the Berlin-based Frahm release his latest album, 'All Melody'. Since the album's release, Frahm has taken his frequently blissful and ambitious music on the road in support of the album. Playing extended tracks that can be appreciated by the concentrated or relaxed ear, he has drawn rave reviews for the performances.
