Nitin Sawhney will headline Village Green Festival

Village Green festival, the arts extravaganza that takes place in Southend's Chalkwell Park on Saturday 11th July, will this year will be headlined by world music titan Nitin Sawhney, 

Sawhney remains one of the most distinctive and versatile musical voices today, firmly established as a world-class producer, songwriter, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, orchestral composer and cultural pioneer. In total he has been behind nine studio albums, each garnering critical acclaim and accruing a total of 17 major national awards (watch 'Homelands' performed live in Metropolis Studios below).
