If you've been to a Noel Gallagher gig recently, you're likely to have seen a giant City flag hanging proud back stage.
He's City's most iconic fan, so naturally bumping into Jose Mourinho in a hotel lobby isn't likely to be one of his top priorities.
After slamming home a High Flying Birds set at Kendal Calling on Sunday night, he had a chance meeting with the 'Special One' at Salford's Lowry Hotel. (See Noel in full throttle below)
Manchester Evening News report that as he was heading for a night out with the High Flying Birds, Jose and his entourage were heading to the city's San Carlo for something to eat.
We can only imagine what was said, but if it was anything like his thoughts on Yorkshire day then we'll be happy to hear it in Mourinho's next press conference.
Replying to a man who was wearing a white rose for Yorkshire day, Noel added, "It’s for Yorkshire Day? You’ve got your own day? Get to fuck.”
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds next appear at Lytham Festival on Thursday 4th August (tomorrow). Secure your tickets via the box below.
