Despite spending a weekend in the Derbyshire dales and then up in The Lakes, Noel Gallagher still managed to stir some commotion amongst all of the euphoria.
He hailed his performance at Y Not festival "One of the best we've [High Flying Birds] ever played for" before admitting he wasn't actually sure where he was. The iconic Mancunian even paused to ask "is this the first one?" on its eleventh occasion.
He began his set by questioning "who's been the best you've seen so far then?" to replies of "Noel". "Right fucking answer, me" is what followed.

Up in Kendal Calling, it was a Yorkshiremen in his line of fire. MEN reported he called out a proud Yorkshireman who was bearing a White Rose for Yorkshire day. "It's for Yorkshire Day? You've got your own day? Get to fuck?" was his take on that.
At Y Not, Noel dedicated a heartfelt tribute to Caroline Mulhern with a glorious performance of 'Half the world away' and sang an alternative acoustic version of Oasis favorite 'Wonderwall'.
Still playing hard to get, he dedicating a song to "all Oasis fans" before wading into the chorus of High Flying Birds track 'You know we can't go back'. He's still got it alright.
