Packaging the discovery of music, new experiences and affordability, Northbound festival carries the perfect spirit to execute the all important holiday vibe.
Pinpointed on the borders of the serene Lake District at Wellington Farm in Cockermouth, the weekend event takes place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th August, giving you plenty of time to escape from everyday life and immerse yourself in the festival's ethos.
There's arguably no better band to take you away from the real world, with Public Service Broadcasting playing from their quite brilliant album The Race For Space, which you can align yourself with below.
Colliding the worlds of big beat, dub and hip hop with a punk rock approach since the nineties, London quintet Dub Pistols are still reigning supreme and head along to weekender. Sunshine Underground, The Beat, Sub Giant and Echo Tape are just a handful of other names on the programme.
Keeping with the notion of the festival, make sure you take the rest of those in and leave no stone unturned. We can assure you will find something to pepper your music library for a fractional price, without losing any of the coveted festival experience. Tie up your tickets here.
