Northern Kin Festival comes to Thornley Hall Farm in Durham on Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd August 2025 for its seventh edition. Bringing a variety of sounds to the north, including rock, blues, folk, punk, ska, and more, the fest will see over 40 bands and artists across three stages.
Among the names revealed in the first wave announcement are Northern Irish rock band The Undertones, Newcastle folk rock band Lindisfarne, and blues rock outfit King King. The Blockheads, Band Of Friends, The Sandy Denny Project, Los Pacaminos with Paul Young, and more were also revealed.

Northern Kin was created by a team of live music fanatics who want to bring more live music to the North East. Coming to a stunning, safe rural setting, the festival has a friendly atmosphere that welcomes all ages.
The festival will also be running coach travel to and from Newcastle, Gateshead, Chester-le-Street, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Bishop Auckland, Sunderland, and Durham. Camping - including live-in vehicle tickets and glamping - and non-camping tickets are available.
