Norwegian black metal comes to Manchester as Taake tour

Hailing from Norway - the most metal of countries - black metal band Taake come the to UK for live versions of their controversial and head banging assault on the senses. The brainchild of the once solo artist Hoest, the inclusion of a full band make for a much more intense sound and the noise dwellers have successfully toured internationally.

With trademark Hoest riffs, the creative control is still evidently held firmly in the hands of the controversial frontman. However the corpse style make up wearing band include influences from a number of genres as elements of classic rock, hardcore and punk can be heard within the guitar shreds and clashes of drums. Taake come to Manchester's Ruby Lounge on Saturday 8th April.
