From the excellent 'Everything Under The Sun LP' comes this superb jazz number that has late night smoky headphones vibe spot on. Gorgeous vocals from Lizzy Parks, about those dreamy little things in life, backed by emotive and powerful trumpet work from Tom Allan. Ideal for setting the scene when you want to sit back and chill. This really gives you the time to take in the beautiful arrangement and appreciate just how good Ben Lamdin and his nostalgic jazz cat friends are.

With a bassline and melody, that get stuck in your head, over crisp drums that are a pleasure to nod your head to, this simply seduces you as it pours from the speakers. I also like the way it starts and ends with drums that fit snuggly into the mix, it's as if it was produced with the DJ in mind. As is the case with the very best music, this grows and grows on you with each and every play. The instrumental is a very useful bonus, it gives the players time to shine and makes great background music on it's own. Spiritual jazz at it's very best! Nostalgia 77 make classic jazz music for 2007 that is up there with the greats.
