Taking place in an abandoned Zoo deep in the hills of Benimussa, Ibiza, 2007 witnessed one of the most original and well received parties on the White Isle. That party was Zoo Project, with emphasis not only on cutting edge underground dance music but on wild animal themed fancy dress and grandiose production values, bringing out the inner animal in thousands of rave hungry hedonists.

Their wild and colourful approach helped gain a massive following in Ibiza, ensuring that when the insanity hit the UK it captured the spirit of Ibiza with great aplomb, Channel Zoo has been established as a full on party like no other. Its parties since 2011 have hosted the likes of Chez Damier, DJ Sneak, Miss Kittin, Kyle Hall and Terry Francis amongst others, cementing its reputation in the underground clubbing community.

As members of Zoo Project from the start, Nic & Kaleb have been an instrumental part of the brands success. As members of the taste making record label Channel Zoo, they will be appearing as the headlining duo of the imprints arrival at Rumes, Preston. Having cut their teeth in London’s varied house scene during the late nineties, the two went about becoming favourites of promoters and clubbers alike with their garage and rave influenced house sound. Nic remains a vinyl purist, whereas Kaleb could be described as a digital experimentalist. The combination of the two yields a unique analogue and yet fiercely forward thinking sound that has struck a chord with audiences everywhere from Fabric to Space, Sankeys to Cocoon. Very much a part of the house and techno elite, their ability to whip up a crowd remains unparalleled, making them more than worthy of their status as part of Ibiza’s DJing royalty.

Joining them will be fellow Channel Zoo mainstay Michael James, alongside even more DJs yet to be announced. The spirit of Ibiza will be alive in Preston come 26th, creating a Halloween party that requires your attention.
