More names have been confirmed for the inaugural Highest Point, Lancaster's new music festival. A Wing, the promoters behind the event, have announced that Britpop heavyweights Ocean Colour Scene will headline on the Saturday night.
Joining them on the announcement are Cast, whose frontman John Power used to lead legendary Liverpool band The La's, as well as Fun Lovin' Criminals' Huey Morgan, with the likes of northern favourites Embrace and emerging Manchester band Stillia already confirmed.
The new names will appear across the weekend alongisde drum n bass institution Hospitality, who will curate the Friday night main stage and Jackmaster, who brings Jasper James to The Dell. Sasha and James Zabiela will also make an appearance.
Other highlights include a two day stage takeover for BBC Introducing, who bring some of the best emerging talent, Manc party brand Funkademia bring Greg Wilson and Crazy P Soundsystem, while the stunning Hacienda Classical headlines the Sunday main stage to close the festival.
The festival takes place between Friday 18th and Sunday 20th May at Lancaster's Ashton Memorial, grab Highest Point tickets below.
