Libertines man looks to be releasing some solo tunes in time for Record Store Day

Pete Doherty has revealed some new music via his YouTube channel.
In the video The Libertines man is seen singing along to a vinyl record which is described in the clip's information box as “Brand new; Double A-side: Peter Doherty - The whole world is our playground & James Johnston - Dark water. Released on RSD 16th April 2016 - be quick there's only a few!”
The date of the song's release coincides with Record Store Day with Doherty's tune one of a number that fans will be able to pick up on the day from independent record shops across the UK.
Doherty is the latest name to be confirmed for Liverpool Sound City and also begins a UK tour in Bristol on Wednesday 11th May.
