Pete Rock and CL Smooth bring classic hip hop to the UK in October

Perfectly honing the signature sound of 90s hip-hop with soul and jazz at the heart of their rhythms and a distinctly silky flow, Pete Rock and CL Smooth are two of the era's finest, with seminal albums Mecca and the Soul Brother and The Main Ingredient massively lauded upon their release.

Pete Rock's talents as a producer have seen him work with the greatest to ever do it, including Wu Tang Clan, Notorious BIG, Nas and Public Enemy, however his work with fellow New Yorker CL smooth that saw them pen a tonne of rap staples together, not least 1992 jam They Reminisce Over YOu.

25 years on the duo are still bringing the fire to crowds around the world, heading to the UK this October to deliver live shows at Manchester's O2 Ritz on Saturday 14th October (where they will be supported by iconic NYC rapper Jeru the Damaja) and London's The Garage Islington on Sunday 15th October.
