Pirate's Residency programme returns in 2024, offering paid gig opportunities to grassroots artists in the UK, Ireland, the US, and Germany, with partners including Parklife, El Dorado, Tramlines, Forbidden Forest, and more.
Following a successful launch last year, Pirate’s talent development scheme Residency is back to help get emerging bands, solo artists, and DJs on festival lineups and the radio plus gigs at music venues, while offering year-round support through mentorship and studio time.

Last year’s scheme saw over 30 artists performing at festivals including London-based DJ Rodney who played her first festival show at Boomtown before going on to throw her own parties in London.
In 2024, Pirate will onboard a brand new cohort of artists to perform at festivals including Parklife, Truck, Y Not, Tramlines, El Dorado, and Forbidden Forest. The scheme also offers the chance for the new artists to fill guest DJ slots and have their tracks played on London Voices.
Praite’s Residency Lead Rebecca Mason-Evans said, “With Residency's launch last year, we saw over 30 of our artists play at festivals, some for the first time. Our aim is to keep widening these paths for new talent to reach new audiences.”
