Portal Warehouse with Leftwing & Kody and wAFF

Portal have spent the past year making their mark on the thriving Birmingham underground scene, and on Saturday 22nd November they're relocating to another part of the city's infamous Rainbow Venues from their spiritual home NextDoor to The Warehouse to launch a new series of events. 

Portal have worked closely with Blackdot, one of the leading club nights in Birmingham, in order to bring a high calibre of artists to some smaller venues, resulting in unique and intimate parties with jaw-dropping line ups.  

Who better to provide the soundtrack to the first warehouse event than duo Leftwing & Kody (read our interview with them here). The pair have experimented with new and old sounds, and dabbled with production with some of house music's pioneers including Todd Terry and Roger Sanchez.

Their infectiously funky and bass-driven beats (check out their mix for us above) and respect for the true spirit of dance music make their sets incomparable. 

Joining them is Hot Creations favourite wAFF, who has took to the Portal decks before and ever since they have been eager to get his signature tech-house, Balearic-infused style back to Birmingham.
