Porter Robinson releases video for 'Flicker'

It's getting ever closer until North Carolina's electronic wizard Porter Robinson touches down in the UK for his Worlds Tour, which will take place at KOKO in London on October 30th. Porter's ditching of big room EDM tropes in favour of a more varied and emotional style has seen him cement his status as an exciting producer destined for even greater things.

To ramp up the hype for the electronic music wunderkind's forthcoming longplayer Worlds, Robinson has just released a brand new video for the fourth and final release before the album lands (watch it below).

'Flicker' kicks off with stuttering guitars underpinning a cut up Japanese vocal sample, giving way to a lively, funk heavy shopped up segment that builds until the rousing melodic chorus.

The cool visuals see lo fi, bizarre computer animation added to passing Japanese countryside as seen from a train carriage, whilst his sound continues to pack a punch, mixing funky rhythms with a chorus that sounds like a widened, electro heavy M83 that gradually intensifies throughout the record.
