With so many incredible nights already under their belts, 422 has firmly established itself as a club night to be reckoned with. Invariably inviting some of the biggest names along with hotly tipped up and coming DJ talent to their events at gorilla and elsewhere around Manchester, 422 has built a reputation as an unparalleled exponent of top class underground dance music.
The weekend of 16th and 17th August sees 422 take to the VIP stage of Glass Butter Beach, a festival celebrating surfing, wakeboarding, skating, BMXing, and of course, music. It’s the music that 422 will be getting involved with, inviting some of the most legendary DJs from Ibiza and the UK to play the stunning beach spot. Located in the prime spot on the festival site, overlooking Cardigan Bay and looking across to the St. Tudwal’s Islands, 422 has secured one of the most awe inspiring views that any festival can boast.
Heading its lineup will be Jonathan Ulysses. A man needing little introduction, the Space Ibiza resident has been a mainstay of the ‘We Love’ club night on the white Isle for a staggering 15 years. His sets embody the summer party vibe beautifully, mixing cutting edge credibility with party starting antics, nobody understands how to get the crowd pumping better than Mr Ulysses. A few months ago he submitted one of our favourite skiddle podcasts to date. Check it out here.
He’ll be joined by Bora Bora’s Oliver Lang, another Ibiza Giant, as well as Twisted Elegance’s Pat Drury, Leeds Festival’s Cranky, and Jon Besant, best known for his involvement with History of House.
422 have got all the ingredients in place for a seriously tasty VIP arena, which will no doubt prove to be one of the highlights of Abersoch’s Glass Butter Beach Festival.
