Blackpool Tower’s famous Ballroom is set to host an extraordinary evening of social dancing and cabaret action, featuring none other than Strictly Come Dancing’s Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe.

From the age of 10, the Reading born Ian Waite became a dance obsessive. His stepmother, being a former Latin American world champion, brought him up under a strict dancing regime that inevitably paid dividends. His combined passion, hard work, and indisputable talent meant that Ian quickly became one of the most admired dancers in the Country.

Now as something of a celebrity, his numerous appearances on BBC1’s much loved Strictly Come Dancing show have made the Latin Dance star a favourite with the public and all fans of dance. Saturday the 18th of May will see Ian displaying his immense talent in the flesh.

He will be accompanied by the Australian professional dancer and Ballroom expert Natalie Lowe. Winning the Australian Dance Championships four times in a row, her incredible talents were also seen on Strictly Come Dancing, particularly in her partnership with Hollyoakes' Ricky Whittle in 2009. Described by Len Goodman as probably the most formidable couple Strictly Come Dancing had ever seen, the duo narrowly missed out on winning the series, finishing a painfully close second. Still, she left a lasting impression, and one that will be on full display in the North West’s iconic venue on 18th of May.

The ever impressive Fever Dance Company will also be swinging into action, resulting in a night crammed with only the finest dance entertainment, a truly unmissable event for fans.
