Last time out heralded an overwhelming reception as Easter Thursday's editon of the Preston club night saw a sell out attendance treated to a line up of the city's hottest DJ talents.

Since Beats of Rage’s arrival at The Adelphi, the night has seen a welcome return to its roots as a sweaty, attitude free night of cutting edge dance music that has garnered more new fans and reaffirmed long timers. The forthcoming installment promises even more of the same.

June the 14th sees Beats of Rage triumvirate The Filth Wizard, NoFuture, and Breadman return ahead of their collective appearance at this year’s Wickerman Festival. Electronic music enthusiasts bordering on the obsessive, the BoR team return to continue their reputation as party starting selectors with an uncompromising dedication to their craft.

With the first 100 tickets flying out the door in record time, demand is higher than ever for the latest installment. The DJs have been busy since April’s shindig - Breadman has continued to spend an increasingly unhealthy proportion of his wages on vinyl; NoFuture’s tireless scouring for exclusive and rare dancefloor cuts has seen him endure many a sleepless night, and head honcho The Filth Wizard’s encyclopaedic musical knowledge has continued to expand - his finger is more on the pulse than ever. With the three working on throwing their own personalities into their craft, they aim to continue to advance their edgy sound whilst firmly aiming it at the dance floor.

Expect everything from jacking b-boy electro to house, dub techno to disco, Chicago house to Detroit techno, garage to acid and perhaps the odd bit of footwork - who knows!? The music policy is open-ended with only one question being asked - will it make people want to dance? Utilising their very different backgrounds in electronic music, the three weave an exotic kaleidoscope of dance floor destroyers that remains unique in the city.

With a welcoming, up-for-it crowd of dirty stop outs, lovers of electronic music, dedicated connoisseurs of the rave, the Beats of Rage following remains the biggest part of what makes the night work so well.

Sound as usual will be supplied by infamous Operation Sound System - Northwest based Dub System heavyweights, whose national demand is higher than ever. Their ‘who feels it, knows it’ motto rings true, as the technicians behind the bone rattling rig prepare to utilise their extensive knowledge and experience to shake the Adelphi foundations to the very core.
