This Saturday sees a little bit of December dancefloor madness hit the north east, as Middlesborough bounces to the sound of Steve Angello’s Size Records.

The enigmatic founder behind the Swedish House Mafia started Size before SHM took over the planet, with the label becoming the benchmark for the kind of quality stadium standard house music that has been the dominant force in recent times.
It’s that sound that proves the inspiration for Colour at Arena Middlesborough on Saturday, as their main room swings to the sounds of two DJs from said imprint. Headlining is none other than the man behind mega hit ‘The Moment’, Tim Mason. Since he erupted onto the scene just over two years ago, Tim Mason has been on a dramatic upwards curve that shows no signs of relenting.
Recently returning from a huge tour of the states and Canada, closer to home he played gigs on the same day at Creamfields and SW4, as well as the final slot at Cream Ibiza’s 18th Birthday this summer. Although no recent music has been released by Tim there was quite a storm when a track appeared on Tiesto’s recent podcast called ‘Swoon’, which although we can find no official word of should see the light of day soon.
Tim will be joined by fellow Size starlets Third Party, the Essex duo part of the UK Size connection with Tim and equally as adept at delivering the synth drenched speaker shattering ensembles. Further support comes from Dave Robinson and Jordan, while two further rooms see R&B and Deep House explored respectively.
Tickets for Colour at Arena are available below, priced at £7.
