Preview: Content returns with Jordan Peak and Nicholas

After taking a month off in January, Content returns all guns blazing in February to kick off their 2013 programme of events. Friday 22nd sees them welcome two of house music's most elite forces to their basement rave; namely Jordan Peak and Nicholas. 

Nicholas first appeared on the scene in 2010 with a series of releases on his own acclaimed vinyl only label – No More Hits - as well as a string of remixes for other imprints. Since then he's been making waves on dancefloors across Europe, his low slung house and chugging disco sound evolving recently to  incorporate more influences from the artists that have inspired him most  such as previous Content guests Chez Damier and Kerri Chandler as well as legends like Ron Trent, Moodymann, Romanthony and Pal Joey.

His set at Content on February 22nd will mark a great opportunity for Nicholas to showcase his production skills to an intimate, clued-up crowd, with a special live show of his own killer material. 

Joining Nicholas on the night will be Jordan Peak - one of the UK's most promising DJ/Producers.

Jordan has also risen rapidly to the top of his game since his debut on wax came out on Phil Week's Robsoul label in 2010. Further releases came on Tsuba, 20:20 Vision, Morris Audio and Adam Shelton and Subb-an's One Records, leading to Jordan being nominated for “Best Breakthrough DJ” in the 2011 DJ Magazine awards - incidentally, the same awards in which Content received a “Best Club Night” nomination.

Joining Nicholas and Jordan will be Content residents Eddie Leader, Lee Daley and Dan McGlynn
