Preview: Cream Ibiza Closing Parties

This season’s Cream Ibiza parties have been the veritable highlight of a scorching few months, which has seen the likes of Alesso, Calvin Harris and Eddie Halliwell rock the Amnesia Ibiza venue. To bring the summer to a staggering climax, Cream have announced not one but two epic closing parties to end Ibiza 2013 in style.

Closing Party Part One

First up on September 12th is Closing Party part one, and none other than Anjunabeats bosses Above & Beyond will be heading up an action packed first stint at the San Rafael super club. The English dance music giants have since 2000 been one of the most pivotal forces in the development of tech house and trance. Their shows are regularly a riotous display of skill and panache, drawing thousands of fans to such destinations as Global Gathering, Glastonbury, Creamfields, and of course Amnesia.

They will be joined by such up and coming stars as the increasingly busy Jordan Suckley, Gareth Wyn & Size Matters. With more yet to be unveiled, part one of the farewell celebrations looks like getting off to a cracking start.

Closing Party Part Two

The second leg of Cream Ibiza’s swan song on the 19th September is an almighty one. Topping the bill will be perhaps one of the biggest movers in the history of trance - Paul Van Dyk. The East Berliner has become one of the most recognisable faces of the genre, with a slew of massive releases and appearances all over the world cementing his status as one of the true superstar DJs. Having moved away from trance into the world of electronic dance music, Paul Van Dyk continues to forge new pathways that keeps his status as one of the most relevant DJs around. With Grammy nominations and World No. 1 DJ accolades to his name, Paul Van Dyk is a true legend, just the man you want at the helm of your closing party!

He’ll be joined by another great - Laidback Luke. the master of electro house has had a meteoric last few years which have propelled to the top of the bill at all the major dance festivals worldwide. Having worked with the likes of Guetta, Angello, Ingrosso, Axwell and Example to name a few, Laidback Luke is another dance music luminary that continues to excite and astound. This promises to be one gigantic send off to this years Creams residency in Ibiza.
