As the island of Ibiza wakes up from its pre summer slumber, clubs and promoters alike are busy putting the final touches to the forthcoming plethora of parties that the White Isle is famous for.

With so many top nights out lined up and world class DJs waiting in the wings to bring to you the ultimate clubbing and holiday experience, it has become increasingly more difficult to throw a party that is genuinely unique. This is what promoters Sam Mitcham and Alex Ryan set out to accomplish achieving it in emphatic fashion way back in 2011, with the inauguration of the now legendary Driftwood Boat Parties.

Told that it would never work by just about everyone else on the island, the first season went on to sell out every single party, as the only trance and progressive boat party in Ibiza captured the imagination of the travelling ravers. Billed as ‘the hottest, freshest and most talked about underground party in the world of trance and progressive’, Driftwood have succeeded in creating an underground club event that stands out from the crowd.

Previous headliners have included the likes of Aly & Fila, Solarstone, Blake Jarrell, John 00 Fleming and John O’Callaghan - leading lights in the world of trance music. Last year saw a massive 14 monstrous parties take place just offshore with a funktion one soundsystem and over 30 A list DJs going some way to cementing the arrival of Driftwood amongst the greats of Ibiza folklore.

Ibiza 2013 sees the Driftwood crew return bigger and better than ever, with 15 parties planned featuring DJ sets from some of the biggest names in trance and progressive including The Thrillseekers, Menno De Jong, Ferry Tayle, Aly & Fila, Solarstone, Sneijder, Signum, Push (live), Lange and a hell of alot more.

With its reputation growing from previous year’s overwhelming success, you’ll need to act fast to secure your tickets. Its fair to say 2013 is shaping up to be Driftwood’s biggest year ever and a positive move for the real trance and progressive scene.
