Hacienda's hugely busy December has seen the legendary club event take in three stops, and the date at Huddersfield looks particularly appealing for nostalgic ravers. They've doffed their cap to the full gamut of modern dance music lineage at the Hac, with Graeme Park headlining (check a recent Hacienda promo mix of his below), who was one of the first residents at legendary clubnight Nude which was where acid house first dominated at the club.
The family tree then goes all the way down to Elliot Eastwick, the Paper Recordings mainstay who was resident when the venue sadly closed its doors for the final time in 1997. Alongside these two CJ Mackintosh also joins, the one time UK DMC champion and pioneering producer (his 'Pump up the Volume' under the alias of M/A/R/R/S paved the way for DJs to start making their own music) bringing a distinctly London swagger to the event.
Northern house music heroes K-Klass (the most frequent live act to play at the club), original residents Tom Wainwright and Jon Dasilva, and local scene stalwarts Tricky Disko make up the final names for a complete celebration of the club's history and heritage. Head here for full info on tickets.
