Preview: Halloween Spooks with Mark Knight

As the ringleader of one of the most celebrated imprints in the last ten years, Mark Knight’s single vision and unbending determination to see through his own take on house music has resulted in him becoming one of the genres most lauded figureheads.

As an internationally renowned DJ, Mark has made a name for himself partly down to his epic seven hour sets, but also down to the sheer quantity of huge venues he has packed out. Everywhere from Ultra Festival in Miami to South West Four in London have seen headlining slots from the irrepressible house music innovator. His decision to throw his own parties based on the success of his labels direction (under the name Toolroom Knights) saw Mark’s overtaking of Ministry of Sound in London, quickly becoming one of the most popular nights at the London super club.

Striking a chord with the underground dance music family, Mark has taken Toolroom Knights to Cocoon in Frankfurt, Space and Eden in Ibiza, Pacha New York and monolithic dance music festivals Global Gathering and Creamfields. His arrival at Middlesbrough’s Arena promises to provide a pulverising house soundtrack, as one of the country’s leading dance music pioneers takes control and turns the night into one thrillingly nightmarish, rave-fueled Halloween extravaganza.

He will be joined by Get Loose and Ruckus favourites Jordan and Shaun Mac, two DJs more than adept at getting any party fired up.
