Dance music is not without its ardent fans, but none come more dedicated, up for it, and more Epicurean than the Hard Dance crew. Pontins in Southport is lined up to host then what must be the highlight of the hard dance calendar from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th April, the arrival of The Ideal Tidy Weekender (teaser video below), providing 72 hours worth of hard house, hard style, hardcore, trance and house in a re-imagined, rave-ready holiday resort.

The line up alone gives you an idea of the magnitude of the three day blowout, enticing the very best of hard dance music's protagonists to soundtrack a balls out adrenaline fueled festival that takes no prisoners.

The enduring flagship production, promotion, and DJing team The Tidy Boys are the masterminds behind the return, having got the Tidy name back, which they have combined with their other moniker, Ideal, to sew up one of the most comprehensive bills in hard dance history, with 75 of the genre's major players lined up.

Some of the names in control of the sounds include the first lady of hard house Lisa Pin Up (check out her mix above), Nukleuz records mainstay BK, Mixmag's number one Hard House DJ Kutski, fan favourite Andy Whitby and the relentless Andy Farley as well as, of course, the Tidy Boys.

Also expect rip roaring sets from Dutch trance stalwarts Signum, Gatecrasher legend Scott Bond, Bowlers mainstay Rob Tissera, hardstyle upstart Atmosfears and a last ever set from trance specialist and long serving Tidy affiliate Lee Haslam.
