From the minds behind festival favourite Shangri-La comes the second installment of London Remixed, taking place in Shoreditch on November 23rd.

After star turns at some of the most iconic events in the UK over the summer, namely Glastonbury, Bestival, Secret Garden Party and Boomtown, the guys behind the Shangri-La stage turn their attention to London, reliving the vibes of the summer in the cold winter months.

Anyone that witnessed the Shangri-La experience at any of the above festivals this year will have an inkling as to just what to expect from London Remixed. The music is wide and expressive, taking in elements of everything from ghetto funk to drum 'n' bass, reggae to Latin breaks, electro African music to electro swing, tropical bass music to Balkan beats, showcasing musical tropes from round the world and bringing them colliding together for a hedonistic hoedown of outlandish proportions.

Nubiyan Twist - Wafro Beat

Acting as a celebration of the finest in up and coming emerging styles, genres and talent, London remixed is a party with a difference, challenging, enthralling and exciting in equal measure. With Shangri-La effectively proving to be the epicentre for after hours frolics at festivals like Glastonbury and Bestival, the team bringing you London Remixed know exactly what it takes to rock a party.

DJ Chris Tofu - Electro Swing Live

Being held over seven venues, London Remixed prepares to bring all the extravagant creativity, fun and madness experienced at their festival installments to the mud free, weatherproof indoor spaces across Shoreditch. The perfect festival experience will be replicated without any of the down sides, and for the second year running, London Remixed looks to dazzle in its quest to bring a few rays of sunshine into the dreary winter night. Some of the main players to look our for include electro swing legends DJ Chris Tofu and DJ Kobayashi, ten piece afro beat groove machines Nubiyan Twist, psycho tropicalia exponents Family Atlantica, French flavoured and fully improvised gypsy jazz maestros Maniere des Bohemiens, and some earthy electro blues from DJ Eclecktic Mick. Head here to check out the complete London Remixed line up.

The 23rd of November provides a unique chance to step out of the norm, throw caution to the wind and let yourself go. This year's eagerly anticipated London Remixed is looking particularly special, an unmissable opportuntiy to relive some of the highlights of this years biggest festivals, as well as discover some of the worlds most exciting, non conforming music.
