Preview: Love Dose presents Janina & Greymatter @ 2022NQ

After their now legendary post Parklife warehouse rave, anticipation is once again high for the the reliably impressive Love Dose crew’s latest installment. With emphasis firmly on the quality of the lineup, they have yet again secured a mouthwatering bill for their newest venture.

First up is Berlinette and Club Der Visionaere resident Janina. The Love Dose guys were blown away by her skill and infectious presence when in Berlin recently and immediately set about enticing her to England for this, her Manchester debut. 

Since leaving school at 15 to concentrate on DJing, the incredibly talented heroine of house and techno has become a mainstay of Berlin’s underground. Once she was handed two Perlon records by a friend of hers at a young age, her mind was made up, and she’s not looked back. Initially working in DNS record store to fund her passion for music, she has now toured the world, supporting the likes of Seth Troxler, Luciano and Benoit & Sergio amongst others.

Making it her mission to create the best party atmosphere in Berlin, her DJing debut resulted in a residency at Club Der Visionaere, one she stills holds through until today, and later gigs in Rashomon, Watergate, Panorama Bar, Cocorico, Weekend and the Underground Club in Ibiza. We can’t wait to see her import her Berlin attitude to Manchester this weekend.

Joining her will be the hugely popular Greymatter. As one of the original resident producers of Wolf Music, Greymatter has been instrumental in the record labels success. Combining influences ranging from electronica to jazz, soul to garage, world music to hip hop, Greymatter marries these components in a deliciously gritty lo fi aesthetic.

Joining Janina and Greymatter are the ever reliable Love Dose residents and friends. The likes of Illusion Record’s very own Seelie, Lewi Scandal, Josimar, Rumor, Cheetham, and the eagerly awaited Manchester debut for Rabbithole.

The Love Dose crew are set to pull off another absolute classic, as a top drawer line up meets impressive production values and a trademark passionate crowd, ensuring that 2022NQ is the place to be this Saturday.
