Chase & Status had a pretty special 2013. They slayed festivals like Glastonbury and Leeds + Reading, embarked on their first ever Arena tour and found time to record one of the videos of the year. They even had the honour of making the Skiddle Sound of 2013 Playlist, and it already looks as if 2014 will be equally as fruitful for the bass music duo.

On February 1st they embark to Leeds for a record label showcase at Canal Mills, their MTA imprint combining with giants of bass music Metropolis for a stunning soiree, where they will headline proceedings for a DJ set that also ropes in Rage on MC duties. Check the skanking swagger rippling out the speakers on the video above for a snapshot of them in their stride, recorded when they DJed for 1Xtra Live last year.

Joining them will be a live performance from Knytro, the emcee whose dark druggy rhymes have featured on a series of blistering hip hop workouts. His blow up track was 'Still Standing', a wonderful name-dropping tour de force that flipped the names of emcees and their lyrics to celebrate hip-hop as a whole (watch the video below).

Kove also plays, the Sussex reared producer effortlessly switching between house, garage and drum and bass, whilst the second room boasts the Less is More DJs controlling things. Full ticket information can be found here.
