Whilst you might not always associate London institution and mega club Pacha with the underground, you may be surprised by the direction the club is starting to take on Friday nights with Pacha Presents.

Appealing to house music insiders and those on the cutting edge of the dance scene, Pacha Presents welcomes a guest appearance from one of London’s freshest dance music talents, James Pople on Friday 15th February.
Having already rocked the crowd across the city at Fabric and Ministry of Sound, Pople’s low-slung grooves and distinctive deep sounds represent part of an exciting new direction for Pacha, assisted by a boost to the club’s already earth moving soundsystem, as well as other improvements that go to prove there’s more to a club than a pretty face - and the hundreds in there, of course.
Pople has a long history in the clubbing community, and a well known passion for music, but his DJing debut didn’t arise until 2010, back in London after a lengthy spell inspired by a summer of partying in South Africa. Having proved his mettle behind the decks, Pople then got to work polishing some of his own productions, and in a short length of time has released music on Lower East, Electronique and Feast Records, each offering a different slant on his already expanding sound, and gaining support from from established tastemakers such as Groove Armada and Wolf & Lamb along the way. He’s also a big favourite over at Frankfurt’s renowned Cocoon Club.
Heading into 2013, and it’s become apparent that Pople has a clear vision of sound in house, disco, and even a hint of R’n’B - don’t miss this exciting performance in a new chapter for one of London’s most iconic clubbing institutions.
Elsewhere beneath the cherries of Pacha, full support in the Main Room comes from well respected London house man Nathan Rivers, and Pacha regulars Vegas Baby and Three's A Crowd. Meanwhile, filthier sounding fun is to be had in the Global Room, where Women Beat Their Men, AKA Lee Nazari will be putting in a heavier set of tech-house and electro, no doubt to a typically up for it crowd, helping to meld together the sounds of Pacha both fresh and classic.
The bill is topped up off by the likes of Swift Villain, and back-to-back sets from duos Ivan de La and La Williams, Fabian Sense and Joz F as well as Gareth J Sutcliffe and Miles Lloyd.
