It's been a big year for the Rainbow Complex in Birmingham. They've continued putting on some of the best underground parties in the cities, with national acclaim coming when they were selected to represent on one of the pods of the London Eye during Red Bull Music Academy's celebration of UK club culture. The last party of the year sees another push forward for their musical mandate, with a number of promoters coming to the fore to celebrate the start of 2014.

The Warehouse ripples with a bass undercurrent as Marcus Nasty (main picture and Tom Shorterz go back to back. The pairing of UK funky pioneer Nasty alongside star in the making Shorterz sees Rinse bring two of their doyens together, the chance for London to go head to head with Birmingham. If that wasn't enough the honey vocalled Jamie George, famed for his work with Roska, will be hosting their tour de forces through house and garage. Further turns from Cause & Affect, Lowstepp and Pete Graham are among the other starlets taking centre stage in the room.

The Garden sees Face square up with Shadow City, with No Artificial Colours primed for the headline spot. The South East London boyts, regularly supported by the likes of Jamie Jones, Maya Jane Coles, Lee Foss and Visionquest, will be joined by BBC, Lopaski, Serene and more, whilst Surreal and Seedy Sonics take care of the Inner Warehouse and Courtyard respectively,
