Therapy Sessions returns to Manchester after a seven year hiatus to team up with Relapse to throw a night with some of the leading lights of high bpm genre’s. Expect a mammoth seven hour rave up that promises to be one of the most exciting nights of its kind to hit the scene for some time.
Aaron Spectre - Look Out Fi Liar
At the top of the bill will be a live perfromance from Aaron Spectre. The American junglist has in his career been responsible for some of the most caustic, cutting edge beats to have delighted our ears. Aaron moved from New York to Berlin in order to concentrate on his producing, and became the soundtrack to many an abandoned warehouse rave along the way. As one half of Drumcorps, Aaron has been utilising his varied influences to devastating effect, adding live instrumentation to brutal hard hitting drum patterns. He will be concentrating on his jungle heritage though at Sound Control with a live set that promises to be a rip roaring journey through amen breaks and skeleton shaking basslines.
Technical Itch - The Stranger Destroys
Technical Itch will be joining in on the fun, bringing his tough drum ‘n’ bass sound to the hungry Manchester ravers. Renowned for his intense dark brooding sound, Technical Itch will be representing the dark side of things in unforgettable fashion. Planet Mu’s The Teknoist will also be there, showcasing his varied and original vision of pounding drum patterns and beautifully stark ambience. Manchester based ragga deathstep wizard Gore Tech will round off the headliners, as his no nonsense dancefloor destroying prowess is guaranteed to send the place crazy.
Gore Tech - Methlab Mix
Relapse and Therapy have put together a top drawer line up that looks like being their best outing yet.
