Perhaps the leading exponents of trance in Manchester, Rong have been at the forefront of its welcome resurgence by throwing a number of memorable soirees soundtracked by the likes of Bryan Kearney, Aly & Fila, Jordan Suckley and John O’Callaghan. Their third birthday sees the Manchester promoters go all out in securing a top drawer line up.
Nu NRG (Giuseppe Ottaviani & Andrea Ribeca) 'Free Fall'
Headlining will be Giuseppe Ottaviani. A classically trained pianist since the age of four, Giuseppe’s love of music runs deep, which is so readily seen in his work both in the studio and behind the decks. Having released a slew of scene stealing classics, such as 'Free Fall', 'Dreamland' and everything on his 'Spaceflower' EP, Giuseppe has made his mark as a producer, and can be held up their with the likes of Paul Van Dyk and Tiesto.
His appearance at Rong’s birthday will showcase his adept skill at translating his own productions into the live setting, engaging with the crowd and maintaining an uncanny knack for driving them absolutely bonkers.
Bryan Kearney 'Awaken'
Second up will be a welcome return to Rong favourite Bryan Kearney. The Irish producers gift for blending elements of uplifting trance with techno and electro have been gaining him serious attention and praise since he first ventured into production nearly 10 years ago. With a hectic touring schedule the Dublin based trance giant time and time again shows that he is a unique talent, and one of the trance movements finest exponents.
The quality doesn't end there though, as Will Atkinson, James Rigby, Liam Wilson, Rhys Thomas and Joe Byrne make up just a few of the other DJs in action. If you love your trance, this birthday bash is going to take some beating.
