As bastions of procrastination inducing go, Sick Chirpse and their LOL heavy website remain unrivaled, but they throw a good party too. They've spent 2013 bringing a glorious underground zeal to midweek partying in Manchester, and their latest collaboration with Hit&Run sees them continue that run of form with none other than LA producer Falcons at the helm.
Making the kind of slick beat driven electronica that raids hip-hop, R&B and warped bass that the biggest city in the states has become known for, his spluttering drum driven workouts have seen support come from both Diplo and the Boiler Room in his short career to date. Stream the above mix to give you an idea of what to expect, his Southern roots betrayed in the natural bounce coming through the speakers.
He'll be supported on the night from up and coming producer Sivey, with plenty of back up from the litany of Sick Chirpse and Hit&Run comrades Jonny Dub, Rich Reason and Nudist. The fun takes place on the nation's payday Thursday 28th November at Manchester's Antwerp Mansion, so even if you are having to go to work on Friday, at least you can do so safe in the knowledge
