Preview: Size In The Park

After the resounding success of Size Matters in Edinburgh last year, Colours & Stereofunk team up once more to bring super label ‘Size’ to the Scottish masses, on August 23rd.

With this being Colour & Stereofunk’s biggest event yet, 6,000 are expected to attend the inaugural Size In The Park. The premium house music brand will bring with it a suitably stellar line up to grace the massive stage, high end production values and of course, pulverising sound system.

None other than Swedish House Mafia legend Steve Angello will be heading up proceedings. As head honcho of Size, Angello is a man in need of little introduction. Being a member of one of the most well known house music outfits in history, his world acclaim is staggering. Having DJed at just about every major dance event going and releasing some of the most successful dance music ever, his ability to work the crowd and put on a show are unmatchable. His label’s work with industry heavyweights such as Tiesto, Deadmau5, Laidback Luke, Sander Van Doorn, and Avicii, has cemented it as the go-to imprint for cutting edge electronic music.

He will be joined by part time collaborators AN21 & Max Vangeli. The duo have really taken over the scene of late. Since 2010 Max Vangeli has worked alongside Gorillaz, Erick Morillo and Switchfoot, gaining favour with the leaders in the field such as Tiesto, David Guetta, and of course Steve Angello.

AN21 likewise has caused serious waves. Now known as far more than Steve Angello’s brother, his ear for a good remix and catchy dance floor banger has set him apart from the crowd. Their combined sets are high octane, energy fuelled affairs that have been wowing audiences right across the globe.

Third Party, Qulinez (pictured) and Wayne & Woods will also be at Strathclyde, resulting in a line up that is hard not to get excited about!
