Undoubtedly one of the UK's leading clubbing brands, Goodgreef has in its epic career appeared in just about every major city in the UK, as well as head up dance arenas at iconic party venues such as Creamfields, The Warehouse Project and most recently Mint Festival to stunning receptions. The 18th October marks the thirteenth birthday of the game changing clubbing brand, and it has invited one of the worlds biggest DJs to headline proceedings.
Paul Van Dyk @ Beatport, Berlin
None other than Paul Van Dyk will be the main behind the controls at Newcastle’s favourite clubbing haunt Digital, and if any DJ is going to guarantee an unrivalled birthday party, its PvD. The East Berliner is not only a critically acclaimed and Grammy nominated producer, but perhaps one of the most succesful DJs in the world, having won DJ Mag’s World No.1 DJ twice, an achievement only mirrored by a handful of people.
Paul Van Dyk will be bringing his worldwide ‘Politics of Dancing 3’ tour to Newcastle straight on the back of touring Brazil for a fitting birthday celebration that looks like utilizing that special PvD patented magic that has put him where he is today. Goodgreef and Paul Van Dyk have long since been a match made in heaven, guaranteed to establish a party hungry atmosphere that will excite and electrify in equal measure.
Jordan Suckley - DJ Sounds Show 2012
He will be joined by one of the most celebrated young DJs in the country at the moment - Jordan Suckley. Receiving regular plaudits from taste makers in the field like Eddie Halliwell, John O’Callaghan and Simon Patterson, Jordan Suckley has made his name in the world of trance through outstanding productions, regular appearances on Radio One's In New DJs We Trust, and electrifying DJ sets that have highlighted his skill as a true artist. With an ever busying touring schedule the highly impressive upstart is definitely one to watch, following in the footsteps of great DJs before him, and perpetually delivering something special with each performance.
The quality continues throughout the three rooms of Birthday celebrations at Digital, featuring performances from the likes of Will Atkinson, Gary Proud, Liam Wilson, Phil Mackintosh, Duology and Digi-Funk DJs amongst many more.
Goodgreef have really covered all bases to throw a truly memorable birthday party at one of the finest clubbing venues in the country.
