With the last installment starring a stunning performance from techno legend Justin Robertson, expectations are understandably high for the next outing from Manchester techno connoisseurs - Xpansion.
Our faith has not been misplaced though, as Xpansion announce the imminent arrival of none other than German techno master Marc Romboy.

For more than 20 years now, Marc has been firmly established as a main player in techno scene. His regular performances both in Germany and all across Europe have become the stuff of legends. With the now iconic record label ‘Le Petit Prince’ collaboration between him and Klaus Derichs under his belt, and new imprint Systematic becoming a world leader in tech house, Marc Romboy has long established himself as one of the most cutting edge trail blazers in the scene. Combining CDJs and synthesizers, his live sets are just that bit more original and exciting than most, and make for a seriously compelling night.
With a slew of collaborations with top end producers from Booka Shade to Gui Boratto and more recently Japanese free thinker Ken Ishii, as well as with regular appearances at The Rex in Paris, Fabric in London, Berghain in Berlin, F.U.S.E. in Brussels and Sullivan Room In New York, Marc is being kept naturally busy. And with the recent release of his fantastic new album Taiyo, we can’t wait to see him in this one-off appearance at Sound Control.
Marc will be appearing alongside the ever impressive Matt Cox and Stuart James, completing a top quality night of underground house and techno.
