Freeze have announced another session for the August Bank Holiday weekend, once again teaming up with Liverpool leviathans of cool Waxxx.

Admit it, we’ve had a great summer. It was freezing pretty much for the entirety of Spring but, save for three or four days of rain in June and a decidedly mixed week so far, we’ve had glorious weather since. But sadly all things come to an end, and if there’s one thing that marks the end of Summer it’s the August Bank Holiday weekend.
And although we’ve got a good four weeks before that hits us, naturally we’re all starting to contemplate what to do when it comes around. Freeze have just thrown their hat into the ring, with the announcement that they will be partnering up once again with Waxxx and taking over Haus Warehouse on Saturday 24th August. It suggests they’ve been more than a little bit influenced by the sunshine, with a line-up and a starting time that nods to the weather.
Top of the bill is none other than Tensnake, the German disco don who will be playing live on the night. His gorgeous compositions raid the sunnier and more Balearic aspects of house, as well as lush synth driven electro and hip-snaking disco grooves. His still fresh ‘Coma Cat’ epitomises the summer and he’s not bad at dropping the tempo wondrously either, as his track ‘58BPM’ proved earlier on in the year. There’s more headline announcements promised in the upcoming weeks.
He’ll be joined by Freeze resident Jemmy, who will be celebrating his second release on Bedrock Records ‘Waterloo Blues’ as part of the show (hear it above). Support comes in the shape of two familiar faces as well to Freeze and Haus, Haus’ resident tag team extraordinaire Allen & Hutch, mUmU and Little Sister resident Adele Moss as well as Diesel Flynn. There will also be a Freeze debut for disco destroyers Autocycle, whose ready brand of funk laden edits will be adding a funkier groove to proceedings (check them out below).
